The Bishop Garrigan Girls cross-country team took home 7th place at the NCC meet last night. Katrina Even picked up 5th place with a time of 16:39 earning all-NCC honors. Carrie Courtney notched a 14th place finish in a time of 17:16. Shanna Miller and Taylor Brandenburg each had season bests finishing with times 18:12 and 19:22 respectively. Miller finished 30th and Brandenburg finished 51st. Also running for the Golden Bears was Krissy Kohlhaas 56th place with a time of 20:00 and Anna Kollasch 61st place with a time of 25:52
Ben Hellman was the top runner for the Golden Bears Boys team that took 9th of the 10 teams at the conference meet. Hellman finished in 37th place finish with a time of 19:07. Chris Kellner and Chris Schmidt ran season best runs. Kellner finishing 44th in a time of 19:48 and Schmidt finished 56th with a time of 20:18.
Running Personal Bests for the Golden Bears were:
Sam Norland 20:05 – 50th place
Jake Lane 20:09 – 52nd place
Alex Hamilton 26:47 – 67th place
The Golden Bears now await the District meet a week from Thursday.
