Bishop Garrigan’s Even Qualifies for State

The Bishop Garrigan Cross Country team ran at the Class 1A district meet in Fort Dodge last night. Sophomore Katrina Even ran to a 7th place finish to earn a trip to Saturday’s state meet. Even’s time of 16:05 was a personal best and adds to her sophomore record. Senior Carrie Courtney also notched a personal Best time of 16:49 for an 18th place finish. The times for the rest of the team with 119 participants:

Holly Byrkeland 19:31 – 74th place
Krissy Kohlhaas 20:00 – 83rd place
Anna Kollasch 20:24 – 90th place

The Bishop Garrigan Boys placed 13th place as a team. Benn Hellman lead the way with a 38th place finish in a time of 19:37. Chris Kellner finished 50th for the Bear with a time of 20:17. Other runners for the boys:
