Volleyball:
NSK improved to 9-0 in the Cornbelt Conference by taking 2 games in the Clay Central Everly Triangular.
The Eagles swept CWL: 25-10, 25-4, and 25-6
The Eagles also knocked off CCE: 25-19, 25-13, 23-25, and 25-19
NSK now sits at 28-3 overall and ranks 4th in the Class 1A state rankings
West Bend-Mallard moved to 8-1 in the Cornbelt by sweeping Harris Lake Park Tuesday night 25-13, 25-23, and 25-12. Amanda Frieden had 8 kills and 5 blocks for the Wolverines. Also helping West Bend-Mallard were Kayla Hartman had 4 aces from the service line, Amanda Knobloch had 7 kills and Megan Fuerstenau added 24 assists.
Also last night in Volleyball action, TRV fell to Manson NW Webster in 3 games: 12-25, 12-25, and 18-25. That puts the Thunder at 1-8 in conference and 3-18 overall.
Cross Country Results:
The North Iowa Girls placed 3rd in the Class B race of the Eagle Grove invite. The Boys took 9th and got a 3rd place finish from Nolan Hovland.
